💛🖤 Classroom Spotlight 🖤💛
In music last week, the Pre-K and Kindergarten class practiced the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and sang it fast and slow. The 1st graders got to learn the song 'Dancing in the Forest", then play a game where they have to sneak through the forest without being caught by the wolf. The 2nd graders got to work on part singing by learning a song called "Ham and Eggs". They got to crouch down when it wasn't their turn to sing and pop up when it was. They had fun seeing how fast they could sing the song, and the 3rd and 4th graders are hard at work learning new notes on the recorder.

On February 23rd, we took JH spellers to the county Spelling Bee in Linton. Of the six we brought, three made it to the oral round: Isabella, Lucy, and Abbie. Abbie earned the 2026 Spelling Bee runner-up, so she will head to Bismarck to compete at the state competition later this month. Congratulations and good luck at state Abbie!

Today, the 7th & 8th Grade students had the opportunity to attend the T4 Summit at BSC. The T4 summit introduces students to workforce skills, needs, training, and networking opportunities with industry leaders and technicians. The kids had some great experiences and a lot of fun.

Snowball 2026 is off to a great start! The kids have done a great job participating in dress-up days. Blackout day was Monday, and today was anything but a water bottle day. They came up with some creative ideas!

The high school started their rock, paper, scissors bead competition today. There was no shortage of intense matches. The competition continues tomorrow!
