Good afternoon HMB, Friday night, Governor Burgum and the North Dakota Department of Health issued executive orders to implement measures to slow the spread of COVID-19. Executive Order 2020-08 All students, staff and visitors are required to wear a face covering while in the school building. Face coverings are to completely cover the nose, mouth and chin (gaiters are allowed), be double layered, and have no vents. Our preschool is exempt from this order. This mandate is effective immediately and through December 13th. Executive Order 2020-43 All school activities, competitions, and non-school activities, including practices, open gyms, etc., are suspended effective tomorrow and through December 13th. This also applies to any club and community activities for students and adults. NDHSAA playoff championship contests previously scheduled are allowed to continue through the month of November. We will continue to share information with the HMB Community as it becomes available from Governor Burgum, NDDOH, NDDPI, and the NDHSAA.
