Due to the continued weather, school will start 2 hours late Thursday, February 23rd. Conditions will be reassessed in the morning and if anything changes another notification will be sent out.
Due to the blizzard warning, we will be dismissing today, Wednesday, February 22 @ 1:30 PM in order to get students and staff home before the blizzard warning goes into effect.

In science, the 3rd graders have been learning about oil spills in the ocean. They did a short experiment to see what the best way is to get oil out of the ocean if there was an oil spill. The first test was to skim it off with a spoon. That was not successful. The second test was to try to absorb oil with cotton balls. That was not successful either. The final test was to put dish soap in and clean up the oil that way. That was successful! In conclusion, they learned that what we do as humans has an effect on our environment.
