In the last few weeks, the 5th and 6th grade ELA classes completed a novel study on Hatchet. For our final project, each student created a diorama of a scene from the book. They've demonstrated their creativity, critical thinking skills, and teamwork throughout the process. I am so proud of the dedication and enthusiasm they have shown throughout this project! Great job 5th and 6th graders!

The Entrepreneurship class will be selling these baskets that can be used for Mother's Day or May Day. The cost is $10.00 each.
Students will also be selling puppy chow & snow cones.

Mrs. Benz's 7th and 8th Grade Exploring Career Decisions classes just finished up their Job Advertisement Posters. Students had to choose a career and create an eye-catching Job Ad that featured job requirements/duties and benefits. They also got the chance to use their creativity skills when creating their own companies and available positions as well as in designing their poster layouts. They did such a great job!

The accounting class is learning about assets, liabilities, and owners' equity. They are using Monopoly as a learning tool. Each student documents their activities (moves) while keeping a document of assets, liabilities, and owner's equity. They are learning while enjoying the game.

In 3rd grade, we are studying the United States. Each student will do a few reports on states throughout this unit along with memorizing the 50 states on a map test. The students research, follow an outline with notes taking, and finally create a poster with pictures and color. Each student presents it to the class to become comfortable with public speaking. They are doing a great job!
