Good afternoon HMB, Friday night, Governor Burgum and the North Dakota Department of Health issued executive orders to implement measures to slow the spread of COVID-19. Executive Order 2020-08 All students, staff and visitors are required to wear a face covering while in the school building. Face coverings are to completely cover the nose, mouth and chin (gaiters are allowed), be double layered, and have no vents. Our preschool is exempt from this order. This mandate is effective immediately and through December 13th. Executive Order 2020-43 All school activities, competitions, and non-school activities, including practices, open gyms, etc., are suspended effective tomorrow and through December 13th. This also applies to any club and community activities for students and adults. NDHSAA playoff championship contests previously scheduled are allowed to continue through the month of November. We will continue to share information with the HMB Community as it becomes available from Governor Burgum, NDDOH, NDDPI, and the NDHSAA. Congratulations to the HMB Drama Team! They did terrific job on their first ever competition! We took 5th place out of 11 schools. Not too bad for the first year! The even better news is we have to superior awards and they go to Tara Dahl and Anna Small! We even had an honorable mention superior acting awards that went to Lindsey Donley and Angel Abdallah. Mrs. Reich is so proud of all of you!

Greetings HMB Community, we would like to take this opportunity to share information regarding our recognition of Veteran’s Day. Due to the current pandemic and according to our Health & Safety Plan in coordination with county and state health officials, we will be unable to host the annual HMB Veteran’s Day Program for the community. We understand the importance of Veteran’s Day and will be holding an assembly for students tomorrow during school. This assembly will provide us an opportunity to explain and increase awareness of Veteran’s Day to our students and the incredible impact our Veterans have on our great country. Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Public School is honored to have the platform to recognize Veterans in our community. This is a time of remembrance where we acknowledge and embrace their Honor, Courage, Loyalty and the sacrifices our Veterans made to serve our great country. Thank you to all Veterans and a special thank you to the Veterans in our HMB community. We proudly recognize everything you do representing our community.
