The second grade class has been working with contractions in English and turned into doctors for the day! They got to perform contraction surgery and fix their bones with contraction bandages. We love incorporating fun into learning!

Yesterday was the last day of our division unit in 4th grade!!!🥳🎉
We started learning the steps of division and how to place the first digit in division with a 2 digit number divided by a 1 digit number.
Then we learned about remainders and how to interpret them. Moved to three digit by one digit division and how to check your answer. Now, we can divide 5 digits by 1 digit with or without remainders and money.

HMB Elementary students are PUMPED UP for Heart Health!
We’ve kicked off our annual Kids Heart Challenge! Watch for your student to be excited about healthy hearts, learning Hands only CPR, and having fun while raising funds to help people with sick hearts! Our goal is to have at least 50% of our students sign up for the challenge this year so their family can learn Hands only CPR at home through Finn’s Mission! From there, families may choose if they wish to raise funds or not this year. Our school site to learn more and to sign up online is http://www2.heart.org/goto/hmbhasheart
