The accounting class is learning about assets, liabilities, and owners' equity. They are using Monopoly as a learning tool. Each student documents their activities (moves) while keeping a document of assets, liabilities, and owner's equity. They are learning while enjoying the game.

In 3rd grade, we are studying the United States. Each student will do a few reports on states throughout this unit along with memorizing the 50 states on a map test. The students research, follow an outline with notes taking, and finally create a poster with pictures and color. Each student presents it to the class to become comfortable with public speaking. They are doing a great job!

Drivers Education Meeting
There will be a meeting for all students in grades eighth on up that need to take drivers education. The meeting will be held during parent-teacher conferences which is February 29th in the theater room starting at 6PM. At that time, Mrs. Bettenhausen will explain what the class will consist of and give you dates and times. Please plan to attend the meeting if you plan on enrolling your student for drivers' education.
