This week, the band traveled to Aberdeen, SD, to represent HMB at the Northern State Band Festival. About 20 other schools were also there. The students were divided into 2 bands and spent the day rehearsing with their respective bands before putting on a final concert to show off all their hard work.

Please note that the GoFan ticket purchasing process is the same that has been used for playoff football games. Redeeming tickets will be different. After purchasing tickets, you will receive an email with QR ticket code(s). Due to very limited cell service at the HMB School, redeeming tickets will be done by scanning the QR code(s). Please print or screenshot the QR ticket code(s) that will be sent to your email or have them open in your email before entering the school. Ticket takers will scan the code(s) for entry. Election Day results are in! Our elementary students decided which cookie was best: Oreo or Chips Ahoy. The students all voted yesterday, and Chips Ahoy won by a very narrow margin, 43 -40. Thankfully, no recounts were required. The students got to enjoy a Chips Ahoy cookie for a snack today. 😊
